OFFICIAL STATEMENT of the Management on the following issues.

As we promised you, we will keep you posted about the decision of Management amidst the Covid 19 pandemic on the following issues:

1. Grade 11 Fourth Quarter Examinations
As per advisory of DepEd, all Fourth Quarter Examinations in all levels are already cancelled. Hence, we will be implementing the X2 program for Grade 11 wherein whatever is the score of the students in their pre-finals would also be their score in their fourth quarter exam. However, their grades in the attendance, quizzes, recitation and projects would still be computed to arrive at the final grades in their respective subjects.

2. Grade 12 Students’ Retreat
The said retreat of the Grade 12 students is also cancelled. In June, we would be negotiating the possibility of refund from the Mornese Spiritual Retreat Center since the event has already been cancelled. From there, we would compute the refund you (parents) deserve but of course with less surcharge.

3. On-Line Classes
Since we are not sure yet on the stability of our children’s safety in the midst of Covid-19 pandemic as we open our classes in all grade/year levels (preschool to college) this coming September, we would like to inform you that this time, we have decided to adopt the ON-LINE CLASSES effective September 2020 as per request of the majority of the parents who prefer the ON-LINE CLASSES rather than the face-to-face interaction due to current epidemic and for their children’s safety.

However, should there be announcement from the government on the lifting of the lockdown or the shifting of the quarantine from MECQ to GCQ, we will keep you abreast on the plans of Management regarding the changes of our learning modalities (as the need arises).

4. Reduction of Enrolment Fee
Since we also empathize with the condition of our parents, who are also struggling with their finances because of this global Covid-19 virus, parents can enroll their children to SBIS with a minimum enrolment fee of Php 3,000.00 for Basic Education and Php 1,000.00 for the Senior High School inclusive of the existing discounts that we provide to our ever supportive and loyal parents. Likewise, the same amount of enrolment fee is also being extended to our new BED student-enrollees. For SHS new student-enrollees, NO RESERVATION FEE IS REQUIRED.

5. Report Cards
Releasing of Report Cards tentatively will be on the first week of July 2020 since the teachers will be reporting under skeletal force to finalize the computation of the grades of both full-time and the part-time teachers including the reading of grades in DepEd thru on-line procedure.

6. School Events
School Events like Graduation, Moving-Up Ceremonies, Completion and Recognition Rites are all on the verge of being decided upon by the Board if these significant activities could be held through virtual conduct most probably on the 2nd week of July 2020.
